The 66th edition of Eurovision Song Contest has ended. The winner is Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra.
On Saturday, the 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest was settled in Turin, Italy, in front of almost 200 million viewers.
After the jury votes had been counted, the UK, Sweden and Spain were fighting for first place. Sweden got twelve points from Iceland, Finland, Estonia and Israel while the UK got the country’s highest total points ever.
The viewer’s votes, however, gave Ukraine, which was in fourth place, a whooping 439 points which goes down in history as the highest amount of points that a single country has gotten from the public.
With that, Ukraine brought home the victory while Sweden’s Cornelia Jacobs ended in fourth place.

I lördags avgjordes den 66:e upplagan av Eurovision Song Contest i Turin i Italien inför nästan 200 miljoner tittare.
Efter att juryrösterna hade räknats kämpade Storbritannien, Sverige och Spanien om förstaplatsen. Sverige fick tolv poäng från Island, Finland, Estland och Israel medan Storbritannien totalt fick landets högsta poäng någonsin.
Tittarrösterna gav dock Ukraina, som låg på fjärdeplats, hela 439 poäng, vilket går till historien som det största antal poäng som ett enskilt land fått från allmänheten.
Därmed tog Ukraina hem segern medan Sveriges Cornelia Jacobs slutade på fjärde plats.
